Job Description Summary

The Management Division at Babson College seeks an experienced instructor for a full-time Lecturer position in Organizational Behavior effective September 2018. We seek a faculty member who is aligned with Babson’s mission of educating entrepreneurial leaders who create economic and social value everywhere. The ideal candidate is an experienced, engaged educator and practitioner who:
• Is passionate about teaching organizational behavior (and related topics like leadership, teamwork, talent management, and coaching) to undergraduates, graduate students, and executives
• Has a proven track record in both teaching excellence and professional business experience and can quickly establish credibility in the classroom
• Is interested in continuing to be engaged in professional practice or practice-based scholarly activity
• Is enthusiastic about action-oriented, innovative and integrative teaching for diverse, entrepreneurially-minded, global, multi-cultural students
• Is interested in teaching on the Wellesley campus as well as hubs in the U.S. and abroad in multiple formats, including day, evening, blended and online
• Is a team player who is willing to lead and collaborate with faculty from multiple disciplines to design and teach integrated business courses
• Is adept at learning and leveraging technological tools to enhance the learning experience
• Will be a fun, engaging, helpful colleague who is committed to the success of Babson College and its diverse learning community.

Additional Information

Qualified candidates will have:
• A completed Masters, PhD or equivalent degree relevant to Organizational Behavior;
• Minimum of 3 years of undergraduate or master’s level or equivalent teaching experience; and
• Minimum of 10 years of managerial, professional, or business experience.
